Today I was reading the Ensign and there is a talk by Pres. Monson about Family. One line that caught my attention was ``find joy in the journey``. It really made me stop and think. We all have a journey, each ins uniquely ours. We all have come to earth and while here our Heavenly Father has entrusted us with his precious son`s and daughters to raise and teach. Some days are alot more difficult than others and we need the love and patience of our family members. As parents we need to do our best to teach our children right from wrong and also how we can return to our Heavenly Father. As I thought about our summer and all the many things we have done together as a family, I thought about how our family has found joy in our journey. I have made it a personal goal to reflect on each day and how we have found joy in the journey and brought our family closer to our Father in Heaven. We all have our struggles, tests and trials but along the way He has given us many things that bring us joy and happiness. Some may be small simple things and other easier to point out. But for me, it brings me joy to hear my kids laugh, the way Tyson helps with the little kids, the way Kylie is always talking about horses, and Madi looking at herself in the mirror to see if her hair is just right and her lip glass is still on and Kaden how he says the funniest thing like ``Mom your a little girl with a big age``.
