I really can't believe that it is June! JUNE!! Where did the time go? It is a beautiful day out finally, blue sky and warm!! Yeah! Miss Madison only had 6 days of school left and the my little Kindergartner will be going into grade ONE! Kylie & Tyson will be busy with year end tests while we are in Hawaii, Tyson has provincial testing the whole week... poor kid! It almost brings me to tears to think he will be in Junior High in the fall!! Can you believe it? Grade 7 already!! Why can't kids stay kids longer.... possibly forever!! Some days it feels like time just slips thru my fingers and as hard as I try to treasure every moment while my kids are young, time seems to go by that much faster.
But faster is good ... only sometimes. Like our trip coming up oh so soon now!! I am so excited to go. I have never been on a holiday without kids, or a holiday where we have to fly to get there and to somewhere tropical and most of all to a 5 star hotel/resort for free!!!! So thanks to all of you who are taking the kids while we are gone!! We could never have gone on this trip without your help!! I hope I don't miss the kids too much... I have never been gone that long without them!!
Miss Madi is having a birthday soon! But since she wants a birthday party with her little kindergarten friends , the party will have to be before her actual birthday!! She is so excited to have a party.. she has never had one before so she wants to plan it herself.. with my help of course! Hanna Montana invites, and piniata!! girlie party bags for her guests!! she hasn't quite decided on a cake... she told me to just make one!! Yikes... that could be scary if she plans on it being super cute!! Maybe we will have cupcakes!! I have time yet so I should get thinking about what to do.
