Today was another beautiful day. Madi & Kaden decided it was hot enough to get the swimming pool out and also get their swimming suits on and have a fun afternoon playing in the pool. While they were filling the pool, a dog from the neighbourhood decided our back yard sounded fun and came to see what was going on. This poor dog was black and so hot, the kids got out a bucket and gave it some water and then that's when it started!!!
Kaden: "mom, can we keep the dog?"
Me: "no this dog belongs to another family."
Kaden: " mom can you please buy me a dog? I can keep it i my room and shut the door so it doesn't get out".
OK, how do you respond to that!!! the mind of a 4 year old..... he knows I don't like animals in my house so I guess if he thinks he can keep it in his room so it can't get in the rest of the house, he thinks that the best way of doing things!
Thank goodness after awhile the dog headed back home. Maybe he just got sick of the kids loving it to death~!!!!
