I have been really bad at updating my blog lately. I have started back to work after a 2 1/2 week break and now that school is back in full swing after Easter break I might have time to get a few more things done now that we are not constantly on the go. One of which is my blog!! Easter break was full of fun things and visiting with family. We had Easter dinner at my parents house last Sunday. The kids had fun playing with their cousins and playing outside with Penny {My parents dog}. During the week of the break we visited with my Grandpa Bill who is in St. Mike's recovering from a broken hip and is doing therapy so he can eventually go home again. We visited with My grandma Norma who was there as well visiting him. He is doing really well and hopefully he can go home soon. We also almost finished another renovation project, we put up our deck railing. it looks so nice and was super easy to put up once we knew we were doing it right. We just need to put up the stair railings and it will be complete.
On Easter Monday Brent's Grandma Williams passed away. Her funeral was Thursday. It is sad that she is gone but its also a blessing that she is at peace and without pain. She had been suffering for a long time so it was a blessing that she is gone. It makes it so much easier to deal with the passing of a loved one to have the knowledge that she is in a better place and that we will see her again. I am so glad for that knowledge and to know that our Heavenly Father is mindful of each of us and that he really does love and care for us.
I have also been thinking that we need to start stocking up more on food storage just so when/if the time ever comes we are prepared. I wish we Canadians can get groceries as cheap as our fellow Americans seem to. It just is not fair at how much they seem to save! Maybe I will have to make a trip to Cutbank and do some shopping!!
