Not impressed!!

Today I got a phone call from Atco Gas. They said they are coming over this morning to change the gas meter. All fine and dandy. Well after it is installed and the guy comes to the door to come relight the furnace and hot water tank he says to me we have a bit of a problem. Oh great!! Now what!! He proceeds to tell me that we need to have our dryer vent moved so that its a meter away from the gas meter! There is always something I'm telling ya!! Who ever built this house did a CRAPPY JOB!!!! Oh don't get me wrong I love my house but there are little things that drive me crazy, for example, when we renovated our bathroom the walls were not straight.. the tub just barley fit cause the walls were crooked!! Now the stupid dryer vent right next to the gas meter! Good thing income tax $$ is coming soon!!When you think you can save a little bit of money that thought gets shoved out the window and something else always takes the money even before you get it!! OK I think I'm done venting for now! its only noon so the day might get better. On a brighter note I do have the house spotless and vacuumed, walls washed and laundry almost done. Now I just need to go put it away and think of something for supper! After working so many days cooking for the Lodge I don't like to come home and have to cook here and clean up. But I guess I have to... Brent will cook but forget about him cleaning up the kitchen!! I guess I shouldn't complain he is the one who usually cleans the bathroom and the toilet!!! yes you heard me right!! He likes to clean the bathroom and the toilet!! I figure go for it, the boys are the ones who can;t keep the toilet clean in the first place!! lol
