Over the long weekend we took the kids to Waterton. It was a gorgeous day with not one little bit of wind, the lake was like glass and it was not too hot. Just perfect. Its not too often you get a day at waterton like that. When we got there we ate our picnic lunch by the lake, and then after the kids played in the lake. Brent & I sat at our picnic table and watched people rock climbing across the road from where we were. Kaden was so wet, we even thought before we left about bringing their swimming suits but opted not too. We really should have cause they would have had so much fun. Pretty soon Nickie and Sandra Smith came over to where we were and asked if any of us wanted to go rock climbing with Ricks and Brad so Brent and Tyson and Kylie went. That's who we were watching after we ate! Was kinda funny. Anyways, Brent and Kylie climbed but Tyson decided not too once he got there, he is terrified of heights, poor kid. But he does fine while hiking up mountains. After they climbed Mandy and Shawn came and met us up there. So the boys took the older kids and Mandy and I took the little ones for a walk around the town site. We saw lots of deer and Kaden and Madi loved watching the big boats there too. After that we took them to the falls and then for an ice cream cone! You can't go to Waterton with out getting an Ice cream cone! On our way home we saw 4 more bears, plus the one we saw on our way into town. So the kids were happy to see 5 bears, one of which was a baby! They looks so nice a cute from the car but I wouldn't want to meet up with one on foot! By the time we got home the kids had all fallen asleep and were about ready for bed. It was such a fun day, a perfect day in Waterton.
