Today was the coldest day so far this winter! We hit a whopping minus 45 degrees Celsius! Needless to say school was cancelled because it was too cold for the buses to run and much too cold for anything else! So we had a Cold Day instead of a Snow Day. The kids were excited today to stay home and lounge around in there Jammie's for the morning, but soon they were bored and thought they had nothing to do. I hate when that happens. I would much rather have them at school than to hear "I'm Bored,there's nothing to do" a million time a day. So I got them busy and we made homemade Chicken noodle soup for supper, along with bread sticks. Madison loves to help me bake and is always right there beside me, singing away while we cook. She reminds me so much of Kylie when she was Madi's age. Both so stubborn and strong minded, but also so sweet and loving and so quick to help the next minute. Must just be girls and their wild emotions!! Tomorrow there is no school again due to PD Day so hopefully I can get the kids busy doing something to keep them a bit more occupied while they are home.
