Back to School

I can't believe where the summer went! It is already the end of August and school has started. We are back to our daily routine and the kids are actually excited to go back to school and see their friends again. Madison was a bit disappointed because she really wanted to go to Kindergarten and really thought that she was old enough, but after alot of convincing she has decided to stay home and do "kindergarten work" at home. Which mean coloring in her coloring books and getting to go to the Dollar Giant to buy a new coloring book and some activity books to keep her thinking that she is doing her school work.
Tyson is in Grade 4 this year. I am really starting to feel old! He is also playing Foot Ball this year too and has started his practices already. He has grown so tall and his feet are about as big as mine!! He is going to be a tall boy!! Gets that from my side of the family! We have had alot of people ask if he is in grade 6 because he is so tall.
Kylie is in Grade 2 this year. She loves school and loves to read. She has grown up so much over the summer too and is looking forward to ballet again this year.
We have more renovations planned for the house, imagine that. We are getting new siding put on, a new window put in and our chimney will have new rock on it. We are really looking forward to that. We have also been cleaning out our back yard as well. Well just the one corner of it, it was full of trees and shrubs and shale rocks. So now we are getting a bob cat to clear it all away and smooth it all out so we can get grass planted and make a garden spot as well. Most of the work we have done by hand, like the cutting out the bushes ans shrubs and cutting down trees. Lots of hard work but it will be so worth it in the end. Madison is wanting a trampoline so this will give us the room for it. We really should stop thinking of things to renovate but it needs to get done and we seem to be running out of good weather to do it. Thank goodness for contractors!

Looks and sounds like you have been busy. Yards & houses are a ton of hard work. Hey, you guys are always heading down to Kalispell and/or Echo Lake. Does Brent's family have a cabin down there?

Hope all is well. :o)
