Hot Days

It has been so hot lately and so we have been trying to keep cool. We went to Wally's Beach last weekend and the kids had a riot. The water was so warm and they loved to play in the sand.

One Sunday we went up to Cardston to visit Brent's Grandma Williams. Before that we let the kids walk around the Temple grounds. The kids loved to smell the flowers and get their pictures taken. The funniest thing and I didn't get a picture of cause Brent had the camera was while we were walking back to the car, a big group of Hutterites came up to the visitors center and took some pamphlets to look at and then they started to ask Brent questions about the temple, it was priceless. I wish I had the camera, there was Brent right in the middle of all these Hutterites talking about the temple and our church beliefs, and they were enthralled with what he was saying, it was funny to watch.

On the way up to Cardston we saw a canola field that was nice and yellow, so we got out the camera and took a few pics of the kids in the field with the windmills behind them. Kaden of course didn't want to cooperate, but what 1.5 year old does.
Also this summer we have made a few trips to Waterton. We hiked up to Crandell Lake and let the kids play in the water and had a picnic. Then we drove to Cameron Lake then back down to Waterton and walked around the lake there too. It was so nice up there and the kids loved seeing all the wildlife aswell.

Tyson and Kylie are now in swimming lessons so when I get some pictures taken of them there I will post them. Hope everyone is keeping cool!

Looks like you've been on the go and lots of excitement. Love the story about the Hutterites! It would've been funny to see . . . Where is "Wally's Beach"? The kids are growing up so fast! Holy Cow!

Wally's Beach is at St Mary's lake/dam by Spring Coulee. There is a nice sandy beach there and the water is always warm. We usually go boating there too.
